GasTOPS is pleased to announce the appointment of Don Anderson to Chairman of its Board of Directors.
Don Anderson is the Chairman of Shaman Power Corporation, a private hydroelectric company owning power stations in Ontario, and a member of the Toronto Board of Trade. He is also a past Board member of the Canadian Innovation Centre in Waterloo and the Trent Rapids Power Corporation.
During a professional career at Ontario Hydro which spanned more than 30 years, Mr. Anderson held positions of Director of New Business Ventures, Vice-President of Engineering and Construction and General Manager of Nuclear Power. For his significant contributions to and achievements in the development of Canada’s nuclear power industry, he received the 1996 Ian McCrae Award from the Canadian Nuclear Association.
Mr. Anderson holds a BASc (Engineering Physics) from the University of Toronto and is a recipient of the Engineering Medal of the Professional Engineers of Ontario (1996).
